Working Out for the Weekend

Let’s take a brief look at strength. By definition, strength is, the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscular power; vigor. Strong, then, is having, showing, or able to exert great bodily or muscular power; physically vigorous or robust: a strong person.

In training the focus on strength is heavier weights at lower sets and lower reps. The movements are slow and controlled, and like everything else should be done with precise form.

The external resistance of strength training is also valuable for bone health and functionality in daily activities.
