Big Classes & Thank you

Well yesterday was a day of large classes at Urban Athlete. Even the kids class was packed!

We would like to say thank you for trusting us with the health & fitness of your children. It’s amazing and I can’t quite understand it but seeing your children, our own little Urban Athlete Kids Team, hanging around after class for some additional play and training warms my little heart.We love the fact that they don’t want to leave.

And of course we love the fact that you never want to leave either. For example, the jump-rope/ plank fiesta that took place today.

If we could add a coffee shop we would.

Here’s tomorrow’s workout. Nice and early.

1A) Step-ups- 4 x 8/8

1B) Kettlebell swings- 4 x 16

1C) Pigeon Push-up- 4 x 16 (That’s 16 total push-ups…8 Pigeons per side.)

2A) Kal-druns for Catie and Erik. – 4 x 12 (That’s 6 per direction.)

2B) Palloff Press – 4 x 12/12

2C) Super Planks- 4 x 12/12

  5. Uber mother extraordinaire!!!! Fit and fabulous, and perky to boot. As I say, Amanda is liquid sunshine – always smiling and sending off that awesome karma. The reason why she can easily get over that bar is because she is not weighted down with negativity, and the fact that she committed to be healthy and strong in mind, body and spirit – you are an inspiration to those who struggle to “bust” out more than one pull-up. Keep being you.

  6. Thanks so much you guys. May sound cheesy, but it’s true-the people at UA inspire each other. It is so exciting to see people reaching their goals and then setting the bar higher. Makes you feel like you can do it too. And the kids…well they are just adorable. Nuff said.

    I love Amanda!!!!! It’s always a pleasure to see her smiling face in the gym.

    Also, can we have a coffee shop? Dillon is a barista, and Pamela and I are constant and talented consumers of coffee. We’re already halfway there.
