Friday’s Training

Friday’s workout is a 2-part workout.

Every minute on the minute start the round off with 5 burpees, for the remainder of the minute perform double dumbbell thrusters. When you reach 100 Thrusters you can rest, walk around and enjoy a sip of water.

How many rounds will it take you?

Then complete 4 rounds of:

Pull-up Static Hold- Chin above the bar, any grip you like- 15 seconds. (There are at least 5 stations available.)

Jump down and move immediately into band rows for 30 seconds. All out effort for 30 seconds.

Jason, will you be at the gym tomorrow at 4pm? I was planning on working out then. I am still in mourning over your move, there are some things that CANNOT change, the place is not going to be the same without you! Who’s going to start dancing at random moments or sing along with the music or grapple with my kids? Pam, whatever you need to keep the place going, just holler! I will mop, re-organize the kettlebells, have the difficult conversations with the clients with outstanding balances or halitosis/BO. UA (formerly known as Crossfit Philly) is the most awesome place.

    Mara,

You are so awesome! And Urban Athlete is an awesome place because of awesome clients like you. You are part of my family. What will I do without you classic humor every morning?

What will you do without class discussions about children with head lice? Did you bottle some of Sensei Sean’s sweat to christen the new home? We should have purchased you a dictionary and all signed it, so you wouldn’t misspell “kaldrons” ever again. Don’t be a stranger.
