Monday’s workout
Let’s start off this week with some simple strength training and move gently into some metcon to finish up.
1A) Deadlift- 5 x 5 (5 reps means you should be lifting heavy)
1B) Pull-ups- 5 x 5 (add weight if needed or use a more advanced variation)
Then complete a new round every 2 minutes for 20 minutes of
10 jumping lunges (10 reps total)
10 Squats
5 Burpees
Quick reminder: On Tuesday night from 8:00 – 9:00pm Urban Athlete will be hosting a Bathing Suit Fundraiser event. True, the bathing suits are women’s styles only…but benefit a great cause. All donations collected from the fundraiser (give a donation of your choice for a bathing suit) will be given to the Camphill Special School, a is a nonprofit Pennsylvania Approved Private School and Waldorf school accredited by AWSNA that offers day and residential programs for children and youth with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
