Hurricane Sandy Relief

As you may or may not know some of our members have homes along the New Jersey coastline and have been down several times to fix, repair and rebuild. Along the way they have seen first hand the disaster and devastation that many are experiencing. There are some homes and families that are far worse off and still without entire homes.

We will be collecting items at the gym that are needed to help support those families in need through OCNJ Care. If you would like to contribute please bring any items to the gym no later than this Friday, 11/16, Doug and Rachael will be taking the items we collect this weekend.

Items that are in need:

Canned Foods: fruit, pork and beans, potatoes, etc.
Dry Milk Boxes
Mac n Cheese
Ramen Noodles
Peanut Butter & Jelly

Diapers and Wipes

Rubber Gloves
Safety goggles and masks
Heavy gauge trash bags
Batteries & Flashlights

Coats – all sizes
Sweaters – all sizes

Wednesday’s Workout:

Complete each exercise for 20 seconds, rest 20 seconds between exercises, complete a total of 6 rounds of:

1a) Single Arm Kettlebell Swings
1b) V Sit Holds / Flutter Kicks (alternating each round)

Complete as many rounds as possible with good form in 20 minutes of the following:
2a) 10/10 Step Ups w/ Hop
2b) 20 Mountain Climbers
2c) 15 Band Push Downs
2d) Ring Pull Throughs
2e) 300m Row
