Burpees and Burgers – Charity Event
By now you should have heard about Burpees and Burgers. It’s our second annual charity event that supports JDRF – Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Juvenile Diabetes, more regularly known as Type 1 Diabetes is a the type of diabetes that caused by lack of function of the pancreas. It has nothing to do with inactivity, diet, or lifestyle. Typically Type 1 effects youth and younger adults although recently it has become more prevalent in young adults. Burpees and Burgers is UA’s way of helping to support research and awareness for Type 1 Diabetes.
Our raffle items will be posted shortly, in the mean time seek out sponsors and pledges for your burpees. Any amount of burpees will help our fundraising efforts.
Monday’s Workout:
Complete each exercise for 30 seconds, rest 15 seconds between exercises, complete a total of 5 rounds of:
-1/2 TGU Left
-1/2 TGU Right
-Pledge Push Ups
-Jumping Lunges
-Double DB Thrusters
-Speed Rows
